Sounds like Home Advantage to me.
Home advantage is being used to the conditions you grew up playing in, especially when they're quite different to those the visiting team is used to. It's not being able to cajole the ground staff into altering the conditions because you think you'll gain an advantage. That's just piss poor behaviour by a board with more money than morals.

I should note, I'm not just talking about the BCCI here.

Yea Ashwin needs to learn that while spin bowling is all about the mind, it is ultimately your body propelling the ball down, and you gotta have some degree of physical fitness to maintain the kind of workload that is being asked of him.

Home Advantage is taking advantage of the fact that you are playing at home and thus have the ability to make the pitch however you want to make it.

Well that's an exceptional day for Australia. Arguably better than the first test given the toss was lost and they had to bat for an hour at the end which is never fun. They'll sleep well tonight. India with a lot of soul searching to do.
Way better than Pune for mine. Only minor blemishes were Handscomb and Warner not holding onto those two tough ones. Other than that it was near faultless. Lyon was better than he's ever been before. Found the perfect spot and just kept hitting it. SOK and the quicks all did their job. And then the openers negotiated a tricky hour with patience. Go anywhere near as good tomorrow and we'll have the game by the balls.

Only in certain countries...and it means nothing to win if you alter the conditions artificially.

It's a weak act by a bunch of posturing cretins.

I think Australia has deployed some kind of dampening equipment which they have brought along around Pune and now Bengalaru that has inhibited Ashwin's cognitive abilities and supernatural thinking that comes with 70% brain use.

I've never seen the man look so average of intelligence

Pay-TV ratings for today in Oz will be huge. Previous Test couldn't be measured because of unusual channel it was on but I'm sure would've been big. But after previous Test and interest it created this will be potentially record-breaking.

I have to wonder. Does this series so far prove that sub-continent batsmen are now much weaker against spin than they've ever been? Also could we conclude that India's over-reliance on Kohli has been exposed? The moment he's failed in a few innings the others, bar Rahul, have simply fallen apart.
