Also Lyon's been exceptional today. This is the best he's ever bowled imo. As Burgey's been pointing out repeatedly, the India batsmen have looked uncertain. A lot of this is all in the head and Indians have always been confidence players. Get that down and they wilt.

I do think he hit that but it's a surprisingly confident decision for the third umpire to make. Normally I'd expect a benefit of the doubt type call there given how close bat and pad were and the lack of hotspot.

He's definitely capable but he might break his shoulder doing it.

He's shown much more control of his pace in general this series; he looks like he's bowling quick because he wants to, rather than because that's just how he's bowling by rote. A much better line as well.

The lesson for touring teams is simple. Pick good spinners or don't bother. India will eat up hack spinners that average 45 fc. But guys with ability can trouble them.
