I know Rose doesn't have much of a First Class record but from what I saw in the Bash, and the fact that he has shown some application (by the sounds of things in Futures) I think he is due a callup to the struggling Tasmanian team. I haven't seen the team announced yet.

Looks like a decent little performance from the Dorff. Funny looking at that list of best Shield figures on cricinfo and seeing that most of them are pre 1980. Previous 9-for was 1984 (Bob Holland 9/83) and the next better performance was Ian Bradshaw (father of the much loved James) in 1967, with 10/44.

Another fascinating day of Shield cricket.

Cowan 115 out of 227 when dismissed. The Apple eaters put in very good bowling performance.

Zampa 6/62 took more wickets than Richardson and Sayers. Jimmy Peirson with 50

And the Dorff is back with 9/37 ! One of the best bowling performances in shield history. Knocked over the top of the table Vics for 117.

Looks like all games will give a result.

Been watching the highlights

The North Dalton oval looks like a nice place to watch cricket.

Impressed with the work of SA wicket keeper Carey.

Weatherald cuts at balls way too close to his body, needs to have a chat with Warner if he wants to keep doing that or steal one of his bats.
