Taking the new ball is an interesting choice when you're down to the last wicket and the old one is still moving around.

Seems like an unnecessary risk early into a last wicket partnership.

I feel it needs to be pointed out that as far as turds go, 8/100 is a very expensive turd. Renshaw should have just **** his dacks and let the Australian innings progress rather than throwing everyone's mind off the game. I bet you Smith was put off when Marsh got out and Handy came out. He would have lost his concentration when he would have started wondering, "what kind of a **** is this? will it end?" scorecard should read Renshaw - out **** wicket.

Haha what was Renshaw supposed to do though? Just **** his pants Lineker style?
Exactly & how does Border know this for a fact..

""If David Warner hadn't got out then he wouldn't have even thought about it. It's a bit of an odd situation. He probably thought he had time to race off the ground and get back on while the new batsman was coming out to the crease."

Can I just say how pleasing it is that its only day 1 of the tour and we already have our first controversy.

Yes! Renshaw really should have **** his dacks. Then he should have made sure he some how got some of that **** on the ball to pysche the Indian bowlers out. It was the sure way to make sure the Indians are'nt rubbing mints on that ball.

indeed, seemed like an odd at the time, and its proven to be a poor one, along with giving the hack Jayant the ball..
Maybe Kohli is testing Jayant.. may get dropped next game if he leaks runs and gets smacked around in next innings too
