Hayden was like a fine wine in ODI cricket. He just got better and better as he got older, culminating in the 2007 WC where he broke batting records and carried us through all the way to the final. I have very strong memories of him smacking Pollock around the park in that WC, when Pollock was the number one rated bowler in ODI cricket at the time.Hayden is ludicrously over-rated as an ODI batsman.

In fact, Hayden made half of his hundreds and averaged 58 after his return to form in 2007 against NZ.
Before this period he had stats almost identical to M Waugh.
So I'm going to go Hayden. M Waugh unlucky.
Why? If anything, he's underrated considering his 2007 WC run.Hayden is ludicrously over-rated as an ODI batsman.
