Pune are still meh.. Do not like KKR and MI. SRH are good but do not catch the imagination. DD do catch the imagination but wont go far. KXIP is the X Pac of the IPL franchises. Gujarat Lions are good but get the feeling they will throw it away in the play offs or KO games again. Its gotta be RCB again this year, that is my team. Love thy neighbor indeed!!!

The name comes from the narcissistic owner's initials. Quite possibly the worst name for a professional sports team ever. I believe the logo, which is just as ghastly, was chosen via a fan submission contest.

Loving all the Indian armchair heroes crawling out from the woodwork to proclaim Stokes is **** because they've looked at his stats.

I don't particularly care about limited overs stuff outside of World Cups. But hopefully it will help Stokes mature in those formats. Quite happy for him to do that learning in the IPL. Once he clicks fully he'll easily be worth his price tag. A game-breaker/winner in all facets of cricket.

Glad to see some Afghanistan/UAE players getting picked up.

I don't particularly care about limited overs stuff outside of World Cups. But hopefully it will help Stokes mature in those formats. Quite happy for him to do that learning in the IPL. Once he clicks fully he'll easily be worth his price tag. A game-breaker/winner in all facets of cricket.

I've not looked at his statistics but his bowling is very expensive in the limited overs stuff. You know he will get you wickets but you also know he will go for a lot. He is a much better first-class bowler.

What? No. They cannot be compared under the same criteria.Stokes is so much better as a bowler that it is not funny and he hasn't hit his stride yet. Once the numbers start reflecting his obvious talent, he will leave Matthews way behind as a bowler. But Angelo is the better bat though.

I stand by my words. Its only a matter of time before the numbers reflect his talent. The guy is just 25 years old.
