From a SA point of view, this is a good test of our 7/8 as they don`t often getting opportunity....

Worth remembering that SA still have one of the best batsmen in the world in as well - this game could barely be better set up for a close finish.

Almost think KW shouldn't be captain if he's going to be this gun shy with his bowling.

Santner almost always responds to getting hit for a boundary by tossing it up even more. Generally a great idea, though there was that match earlier in the season where one of the comms (radio?) was saying it is ok to bowl a flat one if you're getting hit time and time again.

Anyway, worked nicely there.

We should play more of our matches against SA, Aus, England here at the Sinhalese Sports Club of Hamilton imo.

Strange to see Kane giving de Grandhomme a 4th over. Only need 7 rpo to win so we need to bowl them out, and deG seems to be the least likelist to take a wicket. Don't see why you need to use up the final all-rounder / part-time over now, think we need to maximise the balls that the 4 main bowlers will bowl.

Southee may not be much of a swing bowler these days, but he's got of a hell of a future as an off spinner.
