Can someone explain why the move to home umpires in white ball cricket?

We have non elite umpires doing it too. The joker that we had in the South Africa series shouldn't be allowed to umpire again was terrible for both sides.

I'd love to see English/Aus umpires in the Ashes. As they are generally all very good.

Fantastic display of irony there.

You must have enjoyed the Test series then.
I wanted to fly to India and stick a stump through his head at times.

I wasn't a fan of the man prior to the series. But he took himself up a level to a level reserved for the likes of Piers Morgan,John Terry and Joey Barton.

So many ****ing wides. We must bowl more than any team in the world, even though our T20 bowling has been good for a few years.

OS, vcs, indiaholic - this pitch different to the usual Bangalore pitches?
I'm based in Bangalore right now. Might have gone if the game had been on the weekend.

No clue about this pitch. It's usually a batting pitch, I know that much.
