At least that was off a legitimate delivery!Donald and Klusener would be proud.
Does bowling four wides (and two shorter deliveries that went for six) in the final over with the opposition needing eighteen really count?Credit to Harriott and Rimmington for keeping their head when Renegades' season was on the line.
His record was absolutely awesome in the first few seasons of T20 domestic cricket in Australia (was even better in List A cricket at the time I believe); I think he's been worked out a bit as the game has evolved though. From what I can see his record is okay? Has he just regressed a lot?
Great gatherer though.
and they didnt even bring the field in for the single!!Wasn't even the most ridiculous BBL finish of the day. Stars women needed 12 off two balls and achieved it with a single. Six, no ball four, single. And the no ball from a spinner
Haha, they weren't allowed to. Can't change the field from a free hit unless the striker changes, which it didn't with the boundary. Truly bizarre finish when you only need to defend 12 from 2 balls, your spinner can't keep their foot behind the line (or inside the line, unsure if it was a side crease no ball) then the batting side gets the luxury of milking a single with boundary riders.and they didnt even bring the field in for the single!!
Yeah indeed, back in around 2010 I was definitely calling for his T20i inclusion, alongside the likes of Lee Carseldine. Was a genuine gun in the early days. His record was absolutely awesome in the first few seasons of T20 domestic cricket in Australia (was even better in List A cricket at the time I believe); I think he's been worked out a bit as the game has evolved though.
That's been more to do with lack of quality of the cricket actually...This BBL has been the best season so far, last match coming up and top 4 still not decided
