People are missing the wood for the trees by suggesting England focus on the battings of their bowlers too much. There just aren't any better bowlers to come in at the moment.

Mark Wood looks good but to be honest has never really done great in ODIs either.

Plunkett probably would get back in but he is very similar to the others.

Yeah, it's not a focus on all rounders, it just so happens that pretty much all of England's best bowling options are pretty handy with the bat as well. It's not like they're ignoring better bowlers.

Surely the 2 Ireland ODI's can be played without any IPL bound players. It's not like IPL will have more than 5 English players from the looks of things.

Some English punditry circles have been saying they should pelt Kohli with short stuff, and indeed it is believed England might try this.

Kohli has recently been filmed in nets practicing against the short stuff!!

dew is expected to come far earlier in this game..at 5:30 IST (start of 2nd innings) as opposed to 7:30 in the last game, so England have won a huge toss, and have taken Kohli out of the game as he won't be chasing..

It's not beyond Kohli to set up a good first innings, even if he's known for his chasing.

Excellent bowling from Woakes to get Kohli there. Really brave from both Woakes and Morgan there, keeping the second slip and bowling that full.
