He is a bit knackered. They are struggling as it is to keep him fit for Tests. Broad however is a possibility.

Great chase from India. Out on a family dinner, managed to sneak away sister-in-law's 1 year old who was feeling a bit cllaustrophobic inside at the table and kept him company at the gate while watching the game on hotstar. Reached the restaurant just as Virat and Kedar reached a 50 run partnership. Best Decision.

Wood is just recovering from an ankle injury. He is due to play some ECB 'North v South' piece of **** game in Dubai, and then no doubt will play for Durham before England. Baby steps.

England seriously lacking in the bowling department. I think that their batting depth is a little redundant and can afford to get in some specialist bowlers if you can't have both.

People give Chris Jordan some flac for some reason but I found him an useful death bowler in the World T20.

Are the specialist bowlers better than the allrounders though?

And it's strange to say our batting depth is redundant, we had No 9 at the crease in this game and got 90 runs out of 2 of our allrounders. In the warm up game we only got to a half decent score due to runs from No 9 and 11.
