Taskin sounds like some kind of cleaner brand
I'm the world's biggest Basin fan, but it does need some love and attention. Hopefully the work on the RA Vance stand is the start of a proper overhaul. Can't believe they still haven't done anything about the Museum stand.I think Hagley Oval is quickly becoming the premier ground for test cricket in NZ though to be fair.
Still shits me that Chch isnt getting a South Africa test though, should have played Bangas in Dunedin instead.
They keep saying that they haven't decided what to do with the Museum Stand, but all of the concept sketches for the upgrade show it gone.I'm the world's biggest Basin fan, but it does need some love and attention. The overpass would have been the best thing to happen to the Basin by the way, the stand they would have built to cover it up looked great, and was going to take up a bit of land that's just currently used by food trucks.
I think they want the Museum stand gone, but have to get it all approved through some process because it's a historic building or something ... which seems to be taking years, if that's what it is.They keep saying that they haven't decided what to do with the Museum Stand, but all of the concept sketches for the upgrade show it gone.
Vehemently disagree about the flyover. It might've been hidden from the TV cameras but would've been horribly close to spectators on the bank. Anecdotal evidence suggests that the Arras Tunnel has eased the traffic pressure anyway.
Nah, you're just being hypersensitive & overly selective. People quite rightly complimented Banger's batting yesterday, especially Shakib, People quite rightly criticized NZ's bowling, especially Soult. Quite rightly criticized NZ dropping 4-5 reasonably comfortable chances in the field & quite rightly some Kiwis are questioning why unlike other nations in the world do we roll out roads make batting relatively easy for SC sides, when NZ never get conditions suitable to them (and never should do) when touring the SC.Bangladesh are putting in their best ever Test performance away from home and all people can do is moan about the pitch and their sides fielding.
Rabbi WAFG. I'll eat all my words if he bowls well this test.
That would have been ludicrous. They were never going to bat anymore than an hour this morning if they're actually serious about trying to win the Test.I'm quite surprised BD declared tbh. I thought they'd bat on and on...or atleast until 600.
Just seemed like they wanted to bat an hour and get Sabbir to his 50.I'm quite surprised BD declared tbh. I thought they'd bat on and on...or atleast until 600.
They must have had a fix amount of time for which they wanted to bat for, perhaps part of some bigger gameplan to win the Test. And if that's the case then I'm impressed.
They definitely want it gone; they're just not being honest about it. They figure if they leave it decay the cost of repair will gradually get less and less economic. Then they can say it's too expensive and anyway we've done just fine without for all these years.I think they want the Museum stand gone, but have to get it all approved through some process because it's a historic building or something ... which seems to be taking years, if that's what it is.
The second tunnel will be at the end of Paterson St, right next to the existing one. The flyover as designed came very close to the embankment at the north east corner of the ground. The existing road would have remained, so you'd have had two lots of traffic zipping past.I don't think the flyover would have brought the traffic any closer to the bank than it is now. It would mainly have continued in another direction towards a new second tunnel, as I understand it.
I mean this is a big step up from BD. They're actually playing to win the Test after getting into a dominant position. That change in mentality from the 'bat till 8 and hope for a draw' mentality we're used to seeing from them is so refreshing.Just seemed like they wanted to bat an hour and get Sabbir to his 50.
Google Reddit cricket. At the top there's a link to streams.Seriously the youtube stream doesn't work regardless if I set my location to HK, USA, UK, India, BD or NZ
Like wtf. Who is allowed to watch this then? What countries are not region blocked from it? None of the channels I have are showing it too.
Seriously the most frustrating team to support. They're **** when you can watch them, and they're awesome when you can't.
