Ole Sonny found himself a spot to get back into the cameras I see.
Funny you mention Sonny, I was talking to this girl just 2 nights ago who had the displeasure of running into him in a test in South Africa when she was there with a group of her friends. She said he'd come over to chat having seen they were NZ supporters, and was apparently the most annoying sleaziest guy she'd ever met & they couldn't shake him off for the rest of the day & he was trying to organise catching up that night, she was only 21 at the time. She added it was so painful & uncomfortable, they had to strategically sit as far away from him as possible on the 2nd day & did away with their black NZ flags hoping he wouldn't recognize them.

Personally, I wouldn't care if they demolished this stadium and fixed Wellington's traffic issues in the process of it. It's a great viewing ground, but the wicket has never been a good one.

Nah, rip the turf up and start a fresh, but demolishing the ground is going way too far. The Basin is the home of NZ cricket.

**** ground that we're too attached to, that has no real benefit except Test Cricket. Get rid of it.

I'd argue not; our best results have seemingly always been at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

I think Hagley Oval is quickly becoming the premier ground for test cricket in NZ though to be fair.

Still shits me that Chch isnt getting a South Africa test though, should have played Bangas in Dunedin instead.
