They just took Boult for 8 - I'd say they want 600-620, make the follow on over 400 and hope to pressure the Kiwis. I think unlike other teams, they would enforce the follow on.

I'm not watching as not on over here. But I see Sabbir is doing the same stupid tactic he did against us, exposing the tail for most of the over.

There have been some disastrous win the toss and bowl decisions, but this has to be right up there with GC at Adelaide vs WI in the early 80s and Nasser at the Gabba in 02/03.

Jesus christ... Williamson now misfielding a single and turning it into a four.

What the **** is wrong with the team?

Lol @ Doully saying it's none of our business what Bangers tactics are.

This coming from the most opinionated righteous biggest know-all commentator in the world.

I actually agreed with his statement, but jeez the irony.

Declaration.

Be interesting to see how our guys go about it, it wouldn't be surprising to me if Taylor came out and blitzkrieged.

Congrats to Bangladesh on their best ever overseas test innings.

Embarrassingly bad from NZ and it's been a while since I've said that, though there have also been signs the last 12-18 months, particularly from the bowling unit.

Really? I think bowling was the only sensible decision.

Have you had a look at scorecards from the Basin from the past few seasons? The way to win here is use the grass on day 1 to bowl your opposition out cheaply, make 500+ on days 2-3 (and 1st half of day 4 if necessary) then hope your bowlers are good enough to take 10 2nd innings wickets (SL game was an exception, SL batting crumbled on last day after they couldn't bowl out NZ on day 3-4).

Wind was a problem for seamers on day 1, as pointed out by Richard Petrie on radio (who has bowled here), but not enough to make you bat if winning the toss.

The bright side is KW is a good chance of getting a long awaited test ton. Will be his first since Zim.
