Don't think they've realized that cricket is played between non Asian teams.
this thread is so old that cabinet96 is getting hazed in it.Yea clearly, they need upstanding fair minded people like you to educate them about cricket and voting without home-team bias.
Don't know why Bavuma's knock got nominated.New year, new awards:
ESPNcricinfo Awards 2016: Test batting nominees | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo
ESPNcricinfo Awards 2016: Test bowling nominees | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo
A few noms there are kinda questionable.
For batting, Mendis the standout IMO. A few others come close; Stokes and McCullum were crazy, Younis's one got his side to #1 in the world, Tamin was the only batsman to stand up in an innings that set up a famous win for Bangladesh.
For bowling, the three big ones are Jadeja, Broad and Mehedi. Jadeja's was great but in a dead rubber, so it's probably between Broad and Mehedi. Both were crucial but Mehedi's one felt more special.
