I think Smith's captaincy of Lyon makes more sense if you look at it from the perspective of "who is most likely to take a wicket".

He obviously rates bowlers 1-4 and bowls them as such. Now that Lyon is the #3 in his ratings, he's getting more overs and a better field.

Handscomb has looked at least as good as Wade as keeper. Neither of them look as good as Haddin did in the highlights they showed earlier in the day though.
