***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2016/17

That's great news IMO.

But this part seems a bit 'denial'
Duffy has an inkling the problems with his action have stemmed from a push to add more pace to his bowling in the off-season
His action went to puss about 3 or 4 years ago. His first full pro season. Jacob, look up your videos of your debut season as a 17 year old.

Although it seemed to get worse every year so maybe his most recent off season did do the damage but I hope the aim is to get back to 2012 version not just a minimum tweak to get back to 2016 version.

Damning that it took outsiders coming in as coaches to implement any sort of remedial work.

I always forget about Bennett, playing in between all the recurrent injuries. If he could stay fit could possibly earn back an NZ limited overs spot based on his awkwardness, the awkwardness of watching him bowl and the seeming awkwardness batsmen have in facing him.

Suspect Canterbury's score will be a little light here.

Looking forward to Wellington winning and showing our supremacy as the most jammy team in cricket.

This should be a doddle from here for Wellington even despite those two wickets. Pretty much match-winning opening stand from Marshall striking at 180 and Papps at 160, both very high from players not usually known for it.

Hehe, another wicket for Tastle as I write that. Great figures. Only 6 per over needed but Canterbury have a sniff.

The depressing thing is a guy that has retired from international cricket and no where near his best is beasting everyone in that list; showing how truly far removed our domestic scene is from internationals.

Damn wish I could watch. That over from Jamieson keeps Canterbury in it. 10 needed from 2 overs by the tail.

That was a great game, Woody was ice cool. He's playing great cricket at the moment. The game ebbed and flowed befitting a semis. Good crowd too, can't remember when was the last time basin saw a good crowd for firebirds game. Grant is due for a big one, if I'm CD I'd be worried.

Yes, was a great crowd - was a privilege to be able to attend and see Wellington sneak through. Bowes looked quite impressive in stroking his way to a half-century. I thought Wellington might pay for dropping him, but it wasn't too costly. Bennett & Jeets were excellent in reigning Canterbury in. I noticed when I arrived that the boundary rope on the Mt Vic side was a long way in, but I don't think there were any sixes on that side. It was cool to see two stalwarts in Marshall & Papps get Wellington off to such an explosive start (Marshall's straight six off Henry being particularly memorable), and then Patel & Woodcock to bring it home when Wellington looked to be panicking.

The Wellington players spent a long time signing autographs after the game, Tom Latham also came out to sign autographs for the fans young & old. Grant Elliot was clearly the main attraction though for the autograph hunters.
