Pattinson did reasonably last time round and if he was fit I'd somewhat prefer to pick three pacers and O'Keefe, possibly with Maxwell (as brainless as he is) to bowl some offies, but I'm not sure how Bird would go. If Lyon actually concentrates outside off rather than down leg two spinners might work but we need a fifth bowling option and I think another pace option is in order if we go with two specialist spinners, but I wouldn't be confident making a choice in that case.
But Smith's captaincy really makes an argument for playing O'Keefe as the only specialist spinner, as he's better at keeping it tight and more suited to Indian conditions than Lyon.

i'll admit i havent watched a great deal of cricket for a while, i mean i've been way too busy rooting, but i cant see either where lyons results have been below a reasonable expectation, nor where anyone has set the world on fire in order to displace him. there is no need to reinvent the wheel, and no call for 2 spinners anywhere for the foreseeable future
