FMD he's bowled two overs in his first test and is probably happy he's just hit the ****ing pitch. There's some brilliant Stick Cricket players here.

Worst player to bowl for Australia since Joe Mennie imo. Medium pace rubbish only worthy of opening the bowling for Sri Lanka.

Think it's fair to say Cartwright won't be matching MMarsh's output with the ball.
No, but I don't mind this stump to stump stuff. He can forget the short ball, but if he keeps attacking middle and off with the short catchers at cover and mid wicket he can do a job for us.

MMarsh's bowling was kind of underrated tbf, at times he was a legit third seamer in terms of quality and output. Looks like Cartwright is going to be a more Shane Watson style of bowler though, which is why I want to know if he can swing it (or, more importantly, reverse it)

It's a weird hate though. Like I can't think of a basis for it.
Thought it was pretty clear - he's not flashy. He likes his high strike-rate, big showy wicket-taking bowlers. O'Keefe is your line-and-length, frustrate the batsman, one-in-every-40-balls-turns bowler.

Absolutely Marsh's bowling should always have been considered his strong suit. A guy with an FC average in the 20s in both disciplines is a bowler who can bat a bit.

Agreed on interested if Cartwright can get it to reverse though. That would make him a handy package.
