He isn't very bad but I just think he is not suited to punting long balls up to him all the time and expecting him to hold on to it till the cavalry arrive at snails pace. Good striker and a very good one if you play to his strengths as his goal record shows but Everton spent most of last night hoofing it 80's style which is pointless.
So true. Hogan is the first striker we have had in years that who has no critics and that includes Andre Gray.

He was so isolated last night and ended up playing like the star player in an under-8's team, just hogging the ball and trying to run through the defence on his own. Needs more proper service, not hoofed long balls.
Enner Valencia is the worst signing of the season, he's ****ing dire. Why Deulofeu isn't starting ahead of him I don't know. Sooner we get Depay in the better. Also need some creativity in the midfield, we were clueless last night and have been for the last few games.

Still rumours, but they're strong rumours. Looking like we could end up bringing in Depay and Schneiderlin from United, both would be very good signings.
Also looking like Lukaku is going to sign a new deal. No doubt it's just a new deal to up a release clause so that when he hands in a transfer request in the summer we get some decent money for him.

Yeah, it was decidedly underwhelming. Forced me into watching Newcastle vs Sheff Wed this evening, which was 90 mins of my life that I will never get back.
Oh well, always good to see Newcastle lose, but Sheff Wed are obviously a team of ****s. Terrible quality throughout though, not a great advert for the Championship.
