His replacement- Mishra- is a huge liability, can't catch, can't bowl, can't field, absolute joker to put it bluntly. Still remember how Amla destroyed him in 2010, partly because Mishra is just too slow a bowler to trouble anyone.. I thought he'd never play again, yet he continued to play & get taken apart.. but has never been completely out of favor, continues to make the squad and even the starting xi from time to time!

Mishra is crap but tbf, he did have a stretch of really good games last year... Not as though he was in the squad undeservedly. He was outstanding in SL.

Including a leggie has definite advantages and provides variety. He did a great job against AB in the SA series whenever Ash-Jadeja failed to get him.

Mishra deserves to be in the squad. It is just too bad his bowling has regressed this dramatically in this series. And yes Ash has been extremely unlucky this innings so far. Deserves a 3 fer at the very least. It is one thing to be solid and bore batsmen out. He was still beating the batsmen in the air and off the pitch inspite of the utter lifelessness of this track.

Good thing for England is that they too may get to bowl with the new ball in the morning Tomorrow, which may help get a couple of wickets.
