Yea thats right. Assume the ball follows its path and dont expect any turn or swing

Rashid has bowled a few really filthy long hops that have taken wickets, and Ashraful got a wicket off a ball that bounced twice. Those gotta be up there.
wait this needs further explanation

It bounced twice, presumably before it got to the batsman. Dunno why more blokes don't bowl them. Hard to score off.

International Debutant
Technically, I'd argue Lillee dismissing Fredericks (hit wicket) in the 1975 World Cup because he got a wicket off a delivery that was hit for six.

Stace

First Class Debutant
That spell by big Bob though. Jeez, I swear that's 5-10kms quicker than he bowled any other time of his career. Some of those deliveries were absolute snorters.
Yeh absolutely unplayable, wish they had all the technology we have these days to watch it.

Anyone know why the video isn't playable on here?
You need to embed it in your post, not just paste the link. Click the little movie reel icon at the top of the quick reply box and a pop up will come up where you paste your link.

A ball bouncing twice before the crease is legal. Bouncing more than that is a no-ball
I meant more so how it happened

youtubed it and the batsman was ABDV lol, pretty hilarious and that easily wins this thread IMO

I think the Mark Taylor one is funnier because he comes down the track, yorks himself on the second bounce and gets bowled

Norwood's on Fire
The Swann to Rogers one was what I had in mind, but having posted about Cook's wicket the other day I think Shri has a point.
