Good stuff from the test discards. Neesham not bothering with things like strike rotation and foot movement, but playing a good hand thus far.
Interesting how players who have not been in the Black Caps team environment have done well of recent times. Debutantes in Raval and de Grandhomme and then Guptill and Neesham who've been out of the mix as well. Makes you wonder.

I like Watling's promotion. Hopefully he can stick around with Gup for a bit.

Guptill has been NZ's leading ODI batsman for the last couple of years? Neesham was in India and in the squad for the first test against Pakistan. Is good to see though that guys like Raval & de Grandhomme who have done well in domestic cricket can come in and do well.

Watling wasn't convincing in India but it didn't help being out of the ODI setup for 3 years. Should have at least been rotated with Ronchi in that time.
