the funny thing is that the number 5 thing almost could have cost Wade a test return. I just searched back until the start of last season, and he only made one score above 50 at 5 I think

funnily enough, when looking back I saw this scorecard: The Home of CricketArchive

Now that's performance out of your number 5

I wonder if Darren Lehmann understands that for Maxwell to get shield hundreds he's actually got to given a go in the shield team. Eight matches over the 14/15 and 15/16 seasons doesn't exactly count as a great go.

Lehmann needs a fact-checker or at least some kind of proof-reader for his public comments because he just keeps making himself look like an absolute fool.

"Maxwell was never in contention" but Mitch Marsh can play for 1 year and a half straight and Moises Henriques (first class average of 31) can play as a specialist batsman.

How are guys like Maxwell and Faulkner supposed to push for Test selection if the only factor is playing Shield cricket, and they're too busy playing for Australia in ODIs and T20s? **** it's getting annoying.

It is part of the ridiculous conspiracy to keep pathetic poo smelling NSW in contention for the shield. Eventually all good players find their way to NSW to earn a test spot.

The percentage of MUCC players that actually attended university of any kind would be pretty low tbh

Have to think injuries and the drink driving thing have played a part for Faulkner recently. Otherwise he could have slipped into Mmarshes spot. Not that I'm convinced he's a test 6 but neither was Marsh.
