Nicholls is another like Raval who shouldn't be hitting through the offside with the way his game is at the moment. The one good thing about Nicholls' technique is that he keeps his head incredibly still, though it's facing back towards the bowler the whole time as the ball approaches him. Great for leaving if it's outside his eyeline, great for hitting through the legside if the ball's right in front of him. Horrible for hitting through the offside though, as he's basically not watching the ball once it's outside off.

Nah, the same world authorities who informed us Guptill was a better opening option than Raval also informed us Nicholls was the real deal, and Munro was just a hack who's record shouldn't be taken seriously since he's from Auckland.
Mysteriously enough, the main authority seems to have gone into hiding since Raval's introduction. Go figure.
Of course Munro should be a seriously consideration at 5, considering the other alternatives are Nicholls and Ronchi. Clearly the closest like for like replacement for Bmac at 5, and let's not pretend we have anything to lose.

I love Nicholls application but I felt he had no no way of escaping the examination there and he knew it and panicked.
No issues with a player with a few set scoring zones but if he's going to be limited then he needs to learn to do a Rigor and not give a damn how many balls he has to block between scoring shots.

Nah, Nicholls has no fans on this forum except me and that's because I feel sorry for him. Half the posters wanted him to fail from the get go so it's 50 or bust for him.
Witness the calls for his dropping immediately after he scored that 70 odd in SA.
