He's playing way too early at the moment, he played the line of the delivery before it pitched, it moved and took a slight edge, then slightly knicked his elbow on the way to the keeper... a bit of conjecture that a decision was overturned as evidence was mostly seeing deviation on spin version when it went past the bat, alongside faint snickometer readings.

I thought it was out, many in the thread, not so much.

Mmm okay. cricinfo certainly didn't think it was out. MyBlackcaps footage didn't show replays, hopefully the SKY ones will.

He is playing really early from what I've seen as well. Not ideal in NZ during November.

Right, I'm in the not out camp too. Bottom left screen clearly shows the ball is past the bat and just passing the elbow when the noise is made. Gould clearly was looking at the other two screens which looked out.

The slight deviation as the ball passed the bat was what he gave it out on.

Despite the fact it had already seamed and was heading that way? Gunner Gould is so good at his job that he can see a deviation from a ball deviating?

If I'm the on-field umpire, I'd be filthy that my call was overturned based on that sort of information. Oh, and Kane.

Fair enough. Can't be too critical of an umpire in a situation where some see it some way, some see it another.

He likes his young little Asian girls doesn't he? Creepiest bastard ever, I like that Sky have stopped showing him.
