Younis Khan averages 51.11 in NZ and 43.16 in Australia.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'great batsmen in the truest sense of the word', but all the men I listed are widely regarded as excellent players. Younis Khan is on their level.
again you're repeating the same thing. FTR the average against Australia is grossly misrepresentative of his true ability there as he skipped tours to Oceania to go fishing. He's got 5 tons outside the SC in such a long career. Just to put that in perspective Kohli has 8....(and averages a good 5-6 points more).

Yes, Younis is one the level of Ganguly, Sehwag, Jayawardene etc as a batsman. No arguments there. In forums where Aman frequently blocks around he is regarded as an ATG akin to Lara or Ponting or Amla and people buy into that theory too quickly which is my only beef.

yeah I know how it's said in Arabic, but I was wondering specifically how Urdu (and maybe Pashto and Farsi speakers) pronounce it, and if it's used in your languages in the same way as it's used in Arabic.
Pronounced differently in Urdu compared to Arabic. The throat isn't used.

Name any batsman who doesn't have a worse record in some places than others.

We could dissect any batsman in history bar Bradman and magnify some aspect of their record to make them appear worse overall.

That's not the point. The point is he's in Sehwag/Jayawardene's class and not in Tendulkar/Lara/Ponting ATG class as some make him out to be.

I don't think it was Younis's fault that he missed tours. But he averages 49 against Aus, Eng and NZ. His real weaknesses are against RSA and WI, but everyone nowadays has a weakness.

And Younis is now too old to be really successful overseas.

Really? So he didn't skip the tours to go fishing?

TIL that I'm actually Pakistani and named Aman.
Nah you're of Indian origin but suck up to the majority at PP to keep them happy. Now buzz along, I have better things to do than have a discussion with someone who claims Amir is better than Starc and that Williamson sucks.

TIL I'm actually an Indian.

Amir will end up with a better career than Starc; that's not because I'm Indian or Pakistani, more because I can tell the difference between those that need physical peaks to be effective versus those that have technical advantages over the cricket they play.

I rank Williamson as 4th best in world cricket at the moment, if that means I think he sucks, then you should see what I think about Steve Myth.

PS - I also think Ashwin is a pile of **** bowler who profits from home conditions equally as much as Steve Myth from Aus.

1) Blocky isn't me.
2) I've said it several times that Starc and Rabada are in a different league to Amir.
3) Whether YK is an ATG is borderline IMO. If he has a strong series in NZ and Aus, he's in.
4) It may be an unpopular opinion, but KW is super overrated. Sure he's a quality batsmen, but he has a lot to prove to justify the plaudits he receives.
5) Ashwin is a STB and rightfully so till the day he actually achieves something in SA, England, Aus and NZ.
