Why? Just because Pakistan lost the 1st test?

I mean in spite of the rain on day 1, they didn't even need a 5th day in that test.

In terms of today, I think Blocky is gambhiring a little to suggest the whole day will be a washout. Admittedly the timing looks bad as rain is forecast in the next hour or so, but it's actually not a bad forecast for the remaining 4 days.

Mate a truly **** series is when you go to Kingsmead in South Africa and encounter a ground that can't recover following one evening of rain.

I'd be extremely surprised if we don't get a result in this Test, so i wouldn't get despondent quite yet.

Tour match was rained off too. It's been shambles for Pakistan.

**** because of the rain not the loss. We need match practice in these conditions or the Aussies will destroy us.

One positive for NZ is it's not like there's lots of sun around to bake the grass off in the next couple of days. Looks like it will be good for bowling for a while.
