I just want all the new guys to fail miserably as karma for dropping Voges :pissed:
Except he couldn't play due to concussion anyway?

He's an older player and older players are far more susceptible to getting the axe at a drop in form because they're unlikely to come good again. So he was probably in line to be dropped for performance reasons too.

No need to get upset with his replacements about it.

Whatever it takes!!!
If what Warner and Kohli did was the same thing as Faf, and they are bringing lawyers into it now , this stupid ICC rule of reporting it within 5 days if the incident, won't cut any mustard with a judge or jury, would it?

It's pretty clear. But if you don't infer that, nothing more one can say.
Think about what you're saying here for a second.

Do you want ICC to break their own rules and charge Kohli and Warner? How do you think that will go down when Kohli and Warner are able to successfully contest the charges using the very rules set by the ICC? Do you think these rules were somehow made up on the spot when the footage emerged? Or do you think they were made in advance with the foresight that they'd be able let Kohli and Warner get away with this?

I personally think the 5 day rule is questionable but it's odd that you think it can be ignored or is part of some sort of bias.

How are people still whinging about this? It's bad enough that we have to put up with it from *******, *** ******** and *****, but I thought the Saffas were better than this.

Nothing short of pathetic. Cop it and get on with it.

Why Virat Kohli and David Warner weren't charged after emergence of alleged ball-tampering footage | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

What is really important in the world of doublespeak is the ability to lie, whether knowingly or unconsciously, and to get away with it; and the ability to use lies and choose and shape facts selectively, blocking out those that don’t fit an agenda or program
It's a stupid rule but it's clearly in place. The media coverage clearly influenced the Faf charge which it shouldn't have but there's nothing here to support your assertion that the big 3 get preferential treatment.

Nothing to do with big 3.... the charge to Faf came out of the media, from a bias Aus media that were likely to show Faf 'cheating' but not show the images of Warner in the same match...

What is poor from ICC is that they used the images from the media to charge Faf, if you going to start charging players using only specific images given from a biased source that is wrong, they needed to then go through all the images themselves in detail and charge everybody involved. Aus bias media caused a selective prosecution, but ICC incompetence allowed it. As I said before, no problem with prosecuting Faf on this incident if the ICC want to sort out the problem, but then the ICC, umpires and referee`s need to start actively going after all players who do this (which are numerous) and clamp down hard.... not just punish 1 player who got hit by a biased media.

Its hard to accept for aussie media now that they have to cover mannequin voges and marshmellows than the Mcgraths, Gillys, Punters etc etc. Reality hit them hard but they choked and went gaga. It'll take them time to recover and write real stuff and focus on their team than trying to take the attention away
