Rose, Collymore, Collins, Dillon were as good as Kenny Benjamin & Winston Benjamin. McLean was Okayish and King was a good ODI bowler. Somehow the fast bowlers started losing interest from the game during that period as the world expected them to fill in the big shoes of Marshalls and Ambroses.

lol, this was the first live game I ever saw. McLean's batting was the only thing I enjoyed as a 9 year old. All 6 of his fours were lofted and one bounce to the fence. Still haven't seen Windies play again live

Immensely talented,once Roshen Silva a team-mate of his during school days currently an FC batsman averaging over 50 was in the squad of Sri Lanka test team against Australia very recent series,used to say everytime he rolls his arm over he'd end up getting a Five-For and with the bat would score 100.
He played in 2 U19 CWC as well.2006 and 2008.He had a good start,for his career hitting the deck hard and generating good speeds.Lacked consistency with the ball later on.TBH I don't think he improved at all in International Level,he's predominantly a leg side scorer.Lacks scoring options in the off.He had the natural talent to clear the ball over the ropes and had a super-duper arm.
He was always therein thereabouts,but never got going for some reason.
I guess no one wanted him to master a specific are like batting,bowling.So he was neither here nor there sort of a player.Shame Thisara a prodigious talent going down like this
