They dropped a key catch and batted terribly last evening though even though the pitch wasn't really playing up much. If England lose this they should feel dissapointed because this pitch didn't play up to the pre-match hype about being a turner.

Our fault totally if we lose. India have played well but at the important times we have let them play well and take the initiative. India have done well to go for the throat by making full use of the opportunities given.

That's the way I feel this series will play out.. each match might not be particularly close or have huge momentum swings, but they will all be decided by small details either way.. a dropped catch, a smart referral, a wicket against the run of play due to loss of concentration etc. England compete very well against India in general these days.

What would happen if Kohli chooses not use the roller tomorrow? Would Cook have the option of using it before the 4th innings begins anyway if it starts tomorrow? Or would he have to wait until the morning of day five?

Not bringing Ansari on as soon as he comes in might help. He also looked ever so slightly vulnerable to Stokes' short pitched bowling.
