*Official* English Football Season 2016-17

Spurs are so difficult to break down. Their game is pretty ideally suited to play tight and get results in big matches. Which makes it difficult to explain their Champions League troubles so far.
They can't play tight pressing football on the vast Wembley pitch.

Maybe they could ask nicely to play the rest of the campaign at Highbury

So Liverpool broke the record for most shots on target in a Premier League game since they officially started recording these things (2009), with 17.

Dembele is insane. Plays like a 12 stone Luka Modric.
Yeah ridiculous player. Right before he won the penalty I jokingly suggested just letting him do his trademark bulldoze-dribble all the way to the goal. Then he actually did.

**** it, this is our year...stock up on the champagne Nate!
Stock up on the champagne only when the manager says 'Yes, we can." or when we actually win it (whichever comes first). Love the way Klopp is putting the reporters in their place when they keep asking him about title.

I'm taking the piss, long way to go. But this is probably our best chance in years. Klopp is just too smart and honest to get away with complacency. Rodgers never had the temperament - frankly he didn't have the experience.

Coutinho is getting most of the plaudits but keep an eye out on Firmino. He is class, he is ****ing smart, unselfish and works his nuts off. He is Suarez-lite and I mean that in the best way.

I love the way experience is constantly used interchangeably with skill. Really makes my day.
