Labuschagne had a good start to last season but fell by teh mdidle and was out of the shield side for while.He is off to another good start this year

He looks good but haven't seen him a lot.

I think he'll be at the very least a medium-long serving domestic pro, limited in some areas (very on-sidish player from what I've seen) but very adaptable young player.

Langer must have no idea what to do with Bosisto, he's made him play just about every position apart from his appropriate middle order place.

I was thinking about this some more and I have this feeling that Lehmann/CA have asked Langer to try Agar up the order a bit with the view of him potentially being an option at 6 or 7 on a turning track/sub continent for the national team.

Why did QLD bat Hartley behind Wildermuth both innings and below Neser too in the second. As you can tell by being not out both innings, he puts a high price on his wicket, which is kind of useful for a rubbish team.

Surprised to see that Sayers has only played 46 games at first class level. What kept him from being selected earlier on in his career? South Australia's line-up was garbage 5 years ago so it couldn't have been that. Pretty sure he was topping the wicket takers list in grade cricket, even back then.

2nd Innings - O'Keefe and Somerville 77 overs for 106 runs with SOK opening the bowling.

SOK took 17 wkts in 6 games last years.He took 8 in this game !

Agar 36 overs 6/110 runs in the first innings .

His 4 wickets in the 2nd innings gives him ten for the match

He only took 9 wickets in his 7 games in the shield last year

Is this the start of a plan for spinning pitches to aid Australian batsmen when playing on the sub-continent ?

Or is it due to a fluke of Sydney weather ?
