Nah too harsh. You don't become a good ODI player if you let opportunities to score boundaries pass. He picked the slower ball, knew that mid on was up and went for it. The idea was right but the execution was a bit unfortunate. Certainly not a dumb **** shot.

Lower-middle order is full of ****. That's why Dhoni struggles more at numbers 5/6 these days playing with these spuds. Now that he's at 4, it exposes the lower-middle order more and we really know how bad they are. Earlier with Raina, our lower-middle order used to be better. Axar should be kept far far away from the National team.
