Nothing Mominul or Kayes could have done about those deliveries. Pure jaffas.

Unlucky for BD really. Moeen looking this dangerous is huge for England. Means they can have him wheeling away, and just use the other bowlers to support.

BD can't do much against deliveries like that, but I hope they don't panic and play loose shots to deliveries that don't deserve wickets. No flashing at wide balls, playing across the line, hitting in the air to fielders.

Just bat sensibly. Put the bad balls away. Take your time. Be calm. Make the English bowlers take your wicket. Sabbir might be given license to counterattack, but apart from him I hope the rest of the side stays there and grinds out runs.

Getting to 300 will be tough, but its doable.

Also, as a side note, I love that they have produced a result-oriented pitch instead of a lifeless flat one. Giving themselves a shot at victory rather than hoping for the draw. I like this.
well put. i feel mullah will be such a key and take us to 300.

Not only is Rashid not very good, the fact he grips the ball with the seam straight rather than across as most spinners do means that he'll wreck any chances of reverse swing by constantly landing the ball on the shiny side.

****, DRS in the Ind-Eng series. :(

We should have used it from the Aus series, after we had destroyed 'em.

England's batting order interesting. Wasn't Ali batting as low as 8 a few tests back? I know he top scored this time around, but is 5 not too high for him once they get to India and in the longterm?
