**Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

It does kind of feel like Woakes could bat on like this for as long he had enough partners though.
Has looked more comfortable than anyone today except possibly Root and Bairstow. Also averages more than half the lineup.

This England batting order is a performance art piece. It's post-order.

My bet (of England scoring less than 412.5) is looking very very safe in any case...put it right after watching the young offie bowl his first ball of the day :D

Bangladesh's ground fielding has been superb today. Probably the best I've seen from them. S'what happens when you're on top in the field.

Superb from Deshi's to get 92 overs in. Also good partnership from Chris and Rash to put away any fears of being bowled out before close. If we can get 30 more I'd be happy.

I've absolutely no clue how England will bowl on this. I could see Bangladesh folding for 150 or making 500.
May depend on how much Gareth Batty manages to get into their heads - hope they all speak English as I can't imagine his Bengali is up to much

Have to admit, I'm surprised at how well the middle/lower-middle order have done on what seems to be a pitch that's turning appreciably. Expected them to be less of an asset.

Top order predictably disappointing recently.

Not sure whether to be more disappointed or relieved but that is definitely not the kind of day I expected, apart from maybe the slow run rate.

Sets up a compelling Test match.

Wtf is that pitch map for kamrul terrrible
I'd never seen him bowl before today. I kind of assumed he'd look a little bit better than this to actually be selected with the numbers he's got, but he looks every bit as bad as someone who averages 40 with the ball in Bangladesh domestic cricket.

I understand it's been a bit of a barrel-scrape -- Mashrafe retired from the format, Mustafizur injured, Shahid injured, Taskin in cotton wool, Rubel with a terrible Test record over a long period and poor form, Al-Amin with a terrible Test record over an admittedly shorter period and poor form.. but it comes to a point where you'd probably be better off not picking a specialist second seamer at all, or possibly even picking someone like Farhad or Muktar who are obviously not Test class but at least reliable and multi-faceted in what they do. Based on what he sent down today he shouldn't be anywhere near international cricket; I think Bangladesh should be beyond having to pick players like him by this point.
