Pronounced as SHabbir, by born his name its spelled as SHabbir but somehow when he entered into cricket camp as he came through the age group, his name's spelling got to Sabbir and never got changed

I guess Butler wanted the Deshis to have to accelerate against the spinners rather than knock them around in the middle overs.

lol Buttler...doesn't employ spinners from both sides to build pressure...seems to be a fan of the 'spinners should bowl more after 30th over' rubbish theory
Probably more a sign that the spinner:seamer balance is off than anything else tbh. No idea why Plunkett is playing when England have more spinners with them.

I'm sure Buttler in hindsight will have wanted dawson in the team - or root as the third spinner would have been ideal. And I agree that I think they were kept back a bit because BUttler was probably worried about having 15 overs straight at the end of the innings against seam - especially if Bangladesh were 3 or 4 down at that point which could have happened given Ali in these conditions is hopeless. The amount of times Ali has helpful conditions and is basically useless is too high. He's fairly clueless when it spins and has no idea how to get opposition batsman out in conventional ways. Neither the control nor variation. A good day for Batty and Ansari with the first test a week tomorrow.

This game feels over allready unless someone can do something magical in the england lineup.

Drop from the unlikeliest source. Could be costly too, this feels like a total we could get close to but these extra runs might be too much.

Woakes has been garbage today from what I've seen. And worryingly he seems a bit down on pace and without the bounce in his runup
