First off, there is noway a guy with 20 odd test should be listed up there, especially one who only played in Australia and England, without a single test on the turning wickets or dry, tough conditions of Asia or the uneven surfaces of the Windies.

Gilly, as muc has I love him, wasn't a great batsman (he is great because of his combination of roles).

I voted Lara but Sobers is of course, in with a shout.

This is genuinely getting annoying now how often this is being brought up. I honestly think this is the 3rd or 4th time someone here has made this point in the last few weeks here as if it's some great revelation.

I don't know why it annoys me so much it just does
