I really do wonder how things might have been different if they hadn't totally screwed up their negotiations with Heyman several years back.

Things might well have turned out worse than they actually did I guess, but it would have been great to see what a promotion with decent to strong financial backing run by a Paul E with total creative control would have been like.

Haha, not sure that is the best thing for TNA tbh. The vid library is literally the only asset they had that was worth a damn. The amount of revenue they could lose out on as a result of losing it is probably substantial. Moot point I guess, as they would probably be dead in the water without the sale anyway, but in many ways it would probably be best for them if they just died. End the misery.
would they have been making much money off the library tho. They don't have a channel I don't think. I'm guessing DVD sales have all but dried up. It's probably just sitting there

Yeah, you're right, I think it was just a lose lose situation for them really. Either they lost their only real remaining asset or just sat on it forever and did nothing with it. Like OS said, this might buy them a lifeline for a short while, but if they aren't wrapped up within a year or so I will be amazed. But, people have been saying that kind of thing about them for years, so...

Is there really a demand for TNA stuff though? I certainly don't care for them, I honestly have no friend who does watch their stuff.

oh they should def do it over the next 18 months, but if they're gonna rush it over the next 6...Cena pins Dean, AJ wins it back off Cena, Cena wins Rumble, Cena, 0-3 against AJ, faces him at WM is about the best they can do imo

great match, do not understand the double submission tap, particular with AJ winning anyway

May just be reading into it a little much but reckon Ziggler may be retiring. Leaving your boot in the ring? Prolonged celebration that he looked like he was tearing up through?

I thought it was a throwback to Eddie losing his at WMXX, given it would have been his 49th birthday.

I hope Dolph doesn't retire. His work over the last couple of months has been some of the best of his career imo. T'will all be a waste if they don't actually do something with him now that he's won the IC title though. They've got to make something of him and have him kick on or he's surely done for now.

Maybe they can put him in a Champ vs Champ program with Styles, that'd be cool. I'd pay to watch that.

Since this time last year Ziggler has lost a feud with Tyler Breeze, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Dean Ambrose.

Kind of amazing how losing streaks can really give great moments. Particularly against someone who was as on fire as The Miz, I wonder what he will be doing next.
