Does anyone watching this series still think BD are crap?

They've got such fantastic players. Nasir Hossain just came off the bench for the first game of this season and Shaiful wasn't even in the squad for Afgh. And Mortaza is so good and so underrated in ODIs.

Proper team these guys when they get their act together.

I think they are exactly who I thought they were. Good team, with not enough good batsmen to challenge the top teams in different conditions.

So Buttler said that he "was just disappointed in the way they celebrated". Yeah that really justified his reaction.

Considering you were claiming it was because he was given out earlier I don't think you have a ****ing clue what you are talking about, do you?

The celebration was stupid and small time, he called someone behaving like a **** a ****. No further action required from authorities, hope it adds some spike to the next game.

Funny, because that's what I think about England. Debatable on "Good team" tho.

Considering two of England's best batsmen aren't playing as well as two of their best bowlers not available would suggest that yet again you have no idea what you are talking about.

Bangladesh are also missing Mustafizur, who is comfortably better than anyone England have. And who are England's missing " two best bowlers"?

So jealous of AZH now btw.
Haha you should really come to BD and watch a match here esp in mirpur. The atmosphere is just brilliant. We bought tickets with twice the price and walked over 2 kms to get inside but all these hassles vanished after getting inside.

Buttler was just being a *****. That's what we'd call him if he went to my school. Plus, as a captain, he shouldn't have been shouting what he shouted.

Anyway, great win for the Bengal Tigers or whatever they call themselves these days. England showed a distinct lack of fight, completely opposite to what they showed in the first match. All set for a thriller.

Maybe you should get back to your homework.

The Buttler for test batsman is starting up again. Seems to be a lot of backing in the press for it.

I really don't see how he could be chosen solely as a batsman. The premise seems to be from his backers that he should be to play like he does in ODI cricket in Test cricket. That's fair enough - but I don't see how he could do that as a batsman in the team say batting 5. He'd get slaughtered for bad dismissals and technically he wouldn't be good enough if they lost early wickets to stop a collapse. The only way I can see it happening is as keeper. As keeper at 7 or 8 he'd have more freedom to play freely, and he could maybe bed himself into the team and maybe eventually move to 5 (as a batsman) when he was more comfortable batting in the longer format.

What his backers also seem to be assuming is that whilst he hasn't done any technical work (to improve from when he was last dropped in test cricket), that maybe with the benefit of time he will have had a mental change in his batting in tests and be able to play with freedom succesfully. That's quite a leap of faith for someone that has never really been comfortable or had much success in first class cricket. I can see why they think that as he is such a talent in ODI and T20 - but that really is no guarantee of longer format success.
