Hick and Fairbrother are obvious candidates. Knight and Trescothick for opening slots. Stewart possibly but not many others.

Yeah why not. You could put Hick or Morgan in that last batting spot but Collingwood was more consistent and gun in the field.

Would have Strauss or maybe Gooch ahead of Trott opening since opening in one day cricket is still all about tons.
