**Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

What a choke that was.

Good signs for England with Duckett and Ball doing so well on debut.

No idea why Rashid gets picked ahead of more deserving players who get wickets etc.......
Jmay was totally wrong about his 10-40 over prowess though, the bastard.

First 5fer on debut from England ever. Superb Jake Ball, he varied his pace exceptionally throughout. Has a bit of Faulkner about him.
It was interesting to see him bowl cutters and the like, figures obviously flattered him a bit, but it was intelligent bowling.

Buttler was scrappy behind the stumps, captaincy can't help this. Get Billings in the side and 'keeping.

For who?

Obvious plus of this selection is a) it bats deep and b) has 6 bowling options. Stokes is the obvious answer but he's just started showing signs that he gets ODI cricket.

As I said he is a Super Sayian in the last 10.

In all seriousness though, bowling attack needs a lot of work. If Ball can turn into a good ODI bowler that would help.

Bairstow looked injured, hammy according to some.

Why? He was basically ultra-defensive, but when he went after a spinner it was often a straight down the ground 6.

Expected Gooch to have more really.

England... Who had Imrul Kayes ton up against them.

Why do I do this to myself

Why

Supporting this team almost feels like being in an abusive relationship at times. You give and you give and just when you feel like all is right in the world they rip your heart out of your chest and stop on it and send you to bed with a tear in your eye...
That's not an abusive relationship mate. That's marriage.

Would rather have Stokes at 4, Jos at 5 and Billings at 6. Jos is wasted at 6 he's more than just a finisher (5 matches at no.4 averaging 106 with 2 tons and 1 50 is crazy), Stokes looks a lot better higher up the order and Billings is a better finisher then Bairstow imo . Billings' list A record is on another planet to JB's, of course Bairstow is on another universe when it comes to the longer stuff. Billings being a miles better keeper then both is a big plus and would give Jos more time to concentrate on batting.

I agree with all of that really, but where to you put Duckett?

On Ben BTW, this was a decent first innings of a player who deserved to be picked, and he looked worthy in his latter part of his innings, but if he was an established player striking so low may well have lost us the game.
