nah vettori had a great eye, and expanded his range of shots from "cut", "late cut" and "vettori cut" to score all round the wicket.

Vettori turned himself into a very handy batsmen but he was never as good as he seemed. He was limited technically but worked with it the same way people like Paul Collingwood did.

He was ideally the best number 8, and his unorthodoxy was his greatest asset. He didn't do as good when given more responsibility at 6/7 and at 8 was the greatest icing on the cake you could possibly want.
