I just plain assumed he would've been picked when I started looking at batsmen.

Plus knowing ICC I'm showing a bit more bias towards FC averages. Was deadset eyeing off Lohmann for ages, for example.

Him and Ponsford really had ridic FC averages considering they're not really talked about as ATGs very often
Inter-war Australian pitches (with timeless matches to boot) is probably the most batting friendly cricket has ever got. Victoria got over 1000. Twice.
