catch everything that comes your way and i guess you have a good ratio no matter the attack. taylor's had his fair share of clangers but i suspect they stick in the mind because his drops tend to be dollies.

he's taken his fair share of catches for sure
In fact Taylor has the best ratio in ODIs & 2nd best in tests, ahead of Fleming for those taking 75+ wickets. Pretty insane.

Watling in NZ v India 2nd Test 3rd innings played very very cautiously iirc.

Even faf and Bavuma managed to play out 35 overs between the two of them in the SA test, it's not impossible.
That pitch wasn't this favourable for our spinners.

Good effort from Santner in this innings, managing to keep things tight and improve from the the previous few days. Outbowled the two main spinners and I suspect NZ might bring in Neesham for one of them next test if he's fit.
I wondered about that but tbh it's hard to see the logic in dropping one of our three spinners, when they'll do the majority of the bowling each match and have all threatened (if intermittently) this match..

Ah well, Going out for lunch. Don't want to read comments about me conveniently leaving when NZ start a blockathon.

You've jinxed this ftr, the draw/loss is on you. Can't recall who Jo'burg and Galle were on but Wellington was Jono's fault for sure.

With our overrate, 4 sessions should be plenty as long as the weather holds up. If we can't bowl them out, it won't be for lack of time, but lack of ideas.*

*I reserve the right to moan if they survive with 8 or 9 wickets down

They are waiting for the lead to reach 400 aren't they? Cuz if they aren't, then I have no idea what they are doing...
