Milkhael Gorbachev.

Adaptable, prepared to embrace change for the good of the team, and you can tell they use his forehead to shine the ball

Have fun making a team of obscure physicists, I'll take the king himself, Stephen Hawking. Dude doesn't care about motor neuron disease so he should have no dramas bowling his spinners with the smoothest run up ever. Also got to love a guy who won't stand up and clap when the opposition batsman scores a ton.

The master of "Swish and Flick", Granger's pot stirring, wand waving ways will provide the main spin option for this side. She's also a pinch hitter down the order after she snotted Draco I'm pretty sure she can hit hard when required.

immediatly reminded me of Ranji descriptions when you referred to 'swish' and 'flick'. people said he wielded the bat like a wand.... bat Granger at 4

I can see this getting dirty and devious so I'm going to pick Margaretha Geertruida MacLeod aka Mata Hari

Red

The normal awards that everyone else has
Elite spinners are rare and I'll get one while I can. John Winston Howard. Amazing subcontinental record.

He should have to pay a forfeit for his dilatoriness - I suggest that the forfeit is that the other combatants get to make his first selection - I suggest John Barnes

Norwood's on Fire
Okay first up, one of the American greats, George W Bush. We've all seen what he can do with the bat, he's not afraid of going on the attack and he's known to get lucky in DL situations

For my second pick, Jon Snow. One of those guys who can break the sacred rules but probably get elevated to captain on the back of it, and likely to be lucky with DRS. He may open the batting, though Richard will likely not see him as a true opener - he's been battling comments like that his whole career though.
