I would wager big money Ireland will win this tournament and easily beat Zimbabwe to gain test status. They'd be so hungry you'd think

Agree Ireland are favorites to win this tournament but Afghanstan will challenge all the way . HK 173/5 off 73 overs and avoid the follow on v Ireland. Decent effort against the English County professionals of Ireland after being 3 for 2 wickets and with 5 teenagers in the HK playing XI.

Watched a bit of the stream earlier. The Ireland bowling needs to lift not to be absolutely taken apart by the Afghan hitters.

Does this thing have a final/semi final or is it just done on the season standings like the EPL? Would suck if rain affected who gets test status due to the Irish getting a bunch of draws

There's a final. It's always broadcast somewhere online too; it's become one of my favourite things of the cricket cycle.

Not really "biased", they've just got a 70-year-old on talking about the time he flew out to Kolkata fortified on whisky.

I know the keeper making his debut for HK today personally! Did my level 1 coaching certificate course with him. He gave me batting pointers, and I 'taught' him slip catching as part of the assessment.

Hope he goes well :)
