That Holding foul at the end looked in the box to me.

Strangely I think Leicester might have preferred being less dominant. Controlled a lot of the second half purely because no one dared get tight on Vardy and he was such a good outlet. Still would have won with an actual ref in charge though.

So happy Shawcross' career will be over soon if they keep with this type officiating, Cahill will be gone too, and a fair few others.

Can I just say on the Andre Gray twitter thing, because it's definitely going to be a thing, his comments are disgusting, and the fact alt-right types will defend the comments is equally disgusting, yet they're from a while ago, and I'm the type of liberal that will allow people to change with maturity and not just condemn them as scum from prior views, same I felt with Vardy really. If they repeat their actions/words, **** 'em on toast. Yet without using the sobriquet "SJW" so many liberals are pretty illiberal on these things.

Fully agree Grecian. They were vile but the idea that somebody can't evolve past a view that's four years old is bizarre. Especially when they were 21. Okay, it's not fifteen, but it's still a pretty raw age (granted I'd expect most 21 y/os to be way past such viewpoints but my point is people change a lot in the years afterwards)

Yeah most average intelligence 21 year olds would be beyond that. a 21 year old footballer is about 5 years behind mentally.

Absolute hate the whole 'Lets dig **** up from 5 years ago that bypassed everyone back then and use it to reoffend people' mentality.

Fascinated by Liverpool. They're so hard to read. Klopp has questions to answer in games against the smaller teams though for sure. He's had two years of games like this.

Only thing I will say on Gray is that it becomes clearer why my lot let him go on a free as a teenager when you read those tweets. Fair play to him for turning his football career round since then but no idea about him as a person so can't say.

Liverpool have been like that for as long as I can remember. All about the big games.

We conceded really early and they packed their box. We had about 80% possession and we don't even set up for it.

They were really organised and we were a bit toothless. Coutinho reverted back to having 6 speculative shots a game. Will be interesting how Klopp solves this problem.

Social media were also a different place back then. The whole public face/private heel thing wasn't fully developed yet.

I agree with grecian's sentiment but this is much worse than what Vardy said, a whole other league of horrible. I don't think it's enough for him to apologise and move on, he needs to make some kind of donation or gesture.

Yeah, when he played for us he spoke quite a few time about how he turned his life around, it was always an 'I was in the wrong crowd' kind of thing.

Feel similar to Uppercut on this though. On the one hand I really do agree with what Grecian and cpr have said, but when I actually see what he said it is kind of hard to look past how vile it is.

Things said in the past should not count against people forever, though. I'd agree about him making some sort of gesture mind you - because some of the comments were, like Pothas said, despicable.

But it doesn't matter because he'll be branded a homophobe and misogynist for the rest of his career by some, whether he's genuinely changed or not.

Why do people trawl through social media accounts of players to see if they said dodgy stuff before they became famous? Sure, he's an idiot, but by the sounds of it, he'd been moving around in that sort of company when he made those tweets. Can't see what is to be gained by suddenly bringing it up now. He apologizes, and everyone forgets about it in a week, I guess?
