Haha yeah it creeps up on you. You tend to think he's had a rough trot lately but has performances behind him, the rough trot has been going for so long now that he barely averages over 30 anymore.
Just checked. He was rubbish years ago as well. Pretty sure that 166 against us in '08 has carried his entire career.

I reckon we will keep chipping away with wickets until QDK and Philander have a key partnership and produce a decent score. And then we have to bat against an angry Steyn...

Also - note who took the Bracewell catch. It was Guppers. Martin is a fielding all rounder and when evaluating him as a player that has to be taken into account.

Well Amla is 25(20). I think he is being a bit cavalier and things will catch up with him soon. At least I hope they do.

Bracewell really is a nothing bowler. Mid-130s, straight up and down these days, isn't a strike bowler who runs through teams, isn't a jammy golden arm, and doesn't keep it tight. He's just plain ****, and that's his main weapon -- taking wickets because anybody with half an iota of batting skill won't rate him in the slightest.
