Doesn't count. #justcosKohli captained two Tests of that Australia series
Actually, the draw in Sydney can count though because he officially took the mantle that test.

I like this post.......with the exception of the first sentence.People also need to realise TPC (the real one, not this month's player du jour, Herath) averages 138 in NZ against what was reliably touted on here last Summer as an ATG pace attack and a team containing what was argued as an unbeatable batting line up too. The pressure in those circumstances was immense and cannot be downplayed. I spoke with Kiwiviktor about this, and he confirms it's the equivalent of average 14,000 anywhere else in the world.
bro if you and the equally sour poms are going to judge us by kiwiviktor and whatever blocky multi was running around at the time then we're gonna judge ya by tumtum and scaly piscinePeople also need to realise TPC (the real one, not this month's player du jour, Herath) averages 138 in NZ against what was reliably touted on here last Summer as an ATG pace attack and a team containing what was argued as an unbeatable batting line up too. it's weird that this bothers you so muchI like this post.......with the exception of the first sentence.
"The Peoples Champion" by definition must be a champion of the people, that is to say they must appeal to the global cricket community. You need to understand that outside the half a dozen or so folks on here that share some weird (and frankly disturbing) infatuation with Steve Smith........the rest of us think he's a ****. And plus I'm really not sure that you Steve Smith fanbois can be classed as "people" anyway itbt.
Now Rangana Herath on the other hand........I think it's fair to say is universally adored and is the only fit candidate for TPC crown.
Get used to it Burgmeister...........RH is our man!!
mate, kiwiviktor was hardly the only Kiwi fan talking up how Aus were going to get demolished in NZ that seriesbro if you and the equally sour poms are going to judge us by kiwiviktor and whatever blocky multi was running around at the time then we're gonna judge ya by tumtum and scaly piscine
tbf tumtums understanding of spin bowling is representative of the australian batting unit.
You're the first person in history to describe Herath as fit!I like this post.......with the exception of the first sentence.

Shhh, can't we just forget that Soult was going to expose Aust's batsmen technique once and for all last summer. If only we played Wagner from the outset, the whole summer would have been a different kettle of fishmate, kiwiviktor was hardly the only Kiwi fan talking up how Aus were going to get demolished in NZ that series
He was groomed as an opener - it was fair enough to be tried at the time. Not the point. They shunted him here and there.
I mean since then he's gradually moved from 5 to 3 and it's fine, but at the time he was constantly having to redefine himself
I'm not saying it as an excuse btw and saying he'd have scored 900 @ 134.61 otherwise - but the management of him at that time was very poor
What do I win for being one of only 13% of the voters to have made the correct callRoot > KW > Kohli > Smith atm
How is Myth #1?Latest test rankings :
1) Smith
2) Root
3) Williamson
4) Kohli
Is the fab 4 official now?
